Basic Foundations of Astrology

Level 1 Certification

This course is for you if:

- You have no knowledge of Astrology

- You want to know what all those signs and symbols in an Astrology chart mean

- You have some knowledge of Astrology, and it still doesn't make sense.

If you are only interested in learning the very basics, taking only part 1 will achieve that goal for you.

Level 1 Part 1 - 8 Tuesdays May 4 - June 22, 2021 7 - 8:30 PM MST

Part 1 helps you learn and understand the basic fundamentals of Astrology, its components, meanings and how to start reading a natal chart.

Lesson 1 – Introduction to Astrology, Fundamentals of Astrology

Lesson 2 – The 12 Zodiac Signs

Lesson 3 – Planets - Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars

Lesson 4 – Planets - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto

Lesson 5 – Houses One through Six

Lesson 6 – Houses Seven through Twelve

Lesson 7 –5 Major Aspects, Planets in Aspect

Lesson 8 – Review, How to Read a Chart

Level 1 Part 2 - 8 Tuesdays June 29 - August 17, 2021 7 - 8:30 PM MST

Lesson 9 – Review, Essential Dignities, Polarities & Sign Rulership

Lesson 10 – Houses (division of Hemisphere, Quadrants), Anatomy of the Planets Major Aspects (out of sign, applying & separating)

Lesson 11 – Sun / Moon / Ascendant and Intro to Minor Aspects

Lesson 12 – Chart Ruler, Chart Signature, Moon Phases

Lesson 13 – Lunar Nodes, Retrograde Planets, Intro to Ephemeris

Lesson 14 – Chart Patterns & Major Aspect Patterns

Lesson 15 – CAAE Ethical Standards (Code of Ethics), What is a Birth Chart? Chart Examples

Lesson 16 – Review, Practice

Note:

The Level 1 CAAE exam is done once per year in May or June. Dates TBD

This course includes 2 practice / review sessions to prepare you for the exam
